  1. We refer to golf and pool as "dead ball" games. You start the action when your ready. Not unlike a pitcher or bowler. Pool is an easier game on the body, golf is a tougher game to become proficient at. In my area many play both and surprisingly most individuals play both at the same level of proficiency with some exceptions. I am an exception. I'm a much better pool player than golfer but the gap is closing. Below pix actually happened on Friday. The are wedged tight and hanging. They are considered pocketed unlike a golf ball wedged against the flag stick.
  2. This is another winter pass time. Tonight starts the 17th annual Hoboken Masters 8-ball tourny. I used be a real player but my time is better spent on the golf course. This year we have an 86 person field of all skill levels, in a 16 table room. I'd rather play golf but I know that after this weekend I can put my cue away for the summer. There is 1,000's in the calcutta.
  3. Does anyone use or have tried the app "Golfmetrics" to measure strokes gained? Is it worth the price? Is it easy to use on your phone while on the course?
  4. Oh Man!! I'm sitting here nursing my allowance of 1 Michelob Ultra and you've got your feet up with those two bad boys.. Richard Guzzo that is dirty pool.
  5. Christian Henning- When can we expect our 1st look at C4?
  6. The finish line is to be to shooting in the low 80's consistantly and to break 80 at least once in 2019. To lower index from 14 to at least an 11 A) Strengthening and flexibility - starting with Core4 B) Weight loss- 15+ lbs by Easter. 1) Increase fairways in regulation. Begins with large and full take away, requires strength and flexibility 2) improve putting statistics. I consider my a good putter but my stats tell a different story. Track results, 34 or less puts a round sounds about right 3) Dial in distances 7 iron thru SW Here is to a good golf year.
  7. Christian Henning - When I check out the calendar by month, why does it NOT show the next challenge that starts, prep on 1/2/19 and official on 1/7/19. Would be nice!! I would like the calendar to have all the milestones etc. Beta testing sucks, I do it from time to time and it always sucks.
  8. I realize that there is not enough content so it is hard to try and see what everyone is doing. I've only tried to visit via phone so I don't know what it's like via PC or Mac.
